Construction Laborer

Position Summary

KLM is seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support commercial construction projects across our regional footprint. This role is critical to maintaining jobsite productivity, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, respects the team, and understands that execution at the ground level drives project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades and subcontractors as directed
• Perform general site preparation and cleanup
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Follow safety protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant practices
• Assist with layout, demolition, framing, and material handling
• Support site logistics and maintain organized work areas
• Communicate effectively with field leadership

Qualifications

• 1+ year construction experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic understanding of construction site safety
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license preferred
